Juliet's Tizzy "Tizzy" 2011 OTTB Gelding 16.3hh Sale Price: $3,000 Lease Considered
Tizzy came to us at the end of 2016. He is the sweetest horse, has a goofy personality, and loves attention from people. He has been ridden off and on since March 2017 and is ready to begin his training in dressage. He has been to local shows where he enjoyed himself and even placed well in his classes! A rider that is a professional or an amateur working with a trainer is best suited for Tizzy. Dressage is not my discipline currently and that is the only reason I am selling him. I have x-rays from spring of 2017 that show some wear from his racing days, but he has never had any issues or lameness. He is priced reasonably to sell as a dressage prospect, otherwise he would be significantly more. (Updated 01/06/18).
Horses that have been successfully rehabilitated, retrained, and re-homed!
Secure the Border "Javier" 2009 OTTB Gelding 15.3hh I found my family!
Javier is a 2009 OTTB gelding. He has been off the track since September 2015. He is very willing to please his rider and learns quickly. He is intelligent and has started jumping and absolutely loves it. Javi is still green and would go to a home that is working with a trainer to finish him out. He is currently schooling 2'6" and is beginning his show career this 2017 season.
Javi is looking for someone that isn't to competitive and is happy hacking around or jumping a couple days per week and perhaps going to the occasional show. He would make a fantastic horse for an experienced young rider. Javier needs special shoeing and we would be glad to explain his needs to any potential home! We have had him for over a year and a half now because we love him so much, however, it's time he found his forever family.
Sissy 5yo OTTB Mare - ADOPTED!
Congrats to Nate on adopting Sissy! She now has a forever home.
Royal Fighter "Enzo" , 2009 OTTB Gelding 16.3hh I found my family!
Stephensclassygal "Jett" 2012 OTTB Mare 15.3hh I found my family!
Jett is a 5yo 15.3hh OTTB mare. She has had 60 days of retraining. Jett is a barn favorite due to her patience and calm demeanor. She would excel as a young rider's horse and I believe she would do very well in 4-H. She does not seem to be interested in a jumping career, so a jumping home is not preferred. Jett is smart, catches on quickly, and wants to please her rider. A 12yo girl took her to a pony club camp and she did very well! She does have osselets, but they do not bother her and do not appear to be in the joint. PPE welcome at buyers expense. Price negotiable.
